Al Kollmann was the founding pastor of Good Shepherd. He served from 1959-1978 and the continued to serve as district president of the Southern Illinois District. 

The Good Shepherd Story with Dan Gilbert

Dan Gilbert was a field education student at Good Shepherd from 1974-1975. He is married to Jan. Their daughter Rose, is wife of current GSLC associate pastor Adle. He is currently the president of the Northern Illinois District. 

The Good Shepherd Story with Dennis Kastens

Dennis Kastens was pastor at Good Shepherd from 1979 to 1992. He is married to Alice. He currently serves as pastor at Peace Lutheran Church in LeMay, Missouri. His associate pastor is our former vicar, Jon Ferguson.

The Good Shepherd Story with Bill Cochran

Bill Cochran was the first principal of Good Shepherd Lutheran School serving from 1984-1990. He is married to Joan. He formerly served as the Executive Director of Lutheran School for the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

Bob Mayhew was called as teacher at Good Shepherd Lutheran School when it began in 1984. He became principal in 2000. He is married to Gail.

The Good Shepherd Story with Les Seto

Les Seto served as associate pastor at Good Shepherd from 1985-1990. He is the first Hawaiian to be ordained in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. He is married to Bernie, and he currently serves as pastor at Waikoloa Lutheran Church in Waikoloa, Hawaii.

Michael Walther was called to Good Shepherd in 1991 first as associate pastor and then as senior pastor in 1992. He is married to Carol.

Jon Ferguson served as vicar at Good Shepherd from 2004-2005. He is married to Alice. He currently serves as Associate Pastor at Peace-LeMay in St. Louis along with former GSLC pastor Dennis Kastens.

Peter Hoft was associate pastor from 2000 to 2006. He is married to Bethany. He currently serves as pastor at Park View Lutheran Church in Davenport, Iowa.

Pastor Adle came to Good Shepherd in 2013. He is married to Rose.
